Melissa Kaplan and Michael Berland and brother Brett Corey Berland announce the birth of Gabriel Ryan Berland, whose Hebrew name is Gavriel Yehuda.
Gabriel was born in January. He is named in loving memory of maternal great-grandmother Grace Kaplan and paternal great-grandfather Raymond Berland. In addition, his Hebrew middle name is in honor of paternal step-great-grandmother Jackie Berland.
Sharing in the family’s joy are grandparents Elise and Gary Kaplan of Plymouth Meeting and Ruth and Larry Berland of Woodbury, New York; aunts Andrea Kaplan and Alyssa Berland; great-grandmothers Joyce Hochfeld, Audrey Barnett and Anne Geller; and great-aunts/uncles, cousins and friends.
