Ruth Kruger turned 100 on July 22. She grew up in the Logan neighborhood of Philadelphia, where her parents were in the textiles industry. Together with her late husband, Earl Kruger, they raised four children: Bill, Cookie, Eric and Hope in the Cheltenham area of Laverock.
Kruger was involved in Hadassah and additional volunteer work and welcomed eight grandchildren. She now lives in the Dresher area.
Kruger celebrated her 100th birthday milestone with her children, grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
