Steve has more than a decade of experience as an award-winning journalist, covering legal, business and public policy issues for leading news organizations. His reporting has included coverage of the House Intelligence Committee on Capitol Hill and the Maryland General Assembly in Annapolis. He previously worked for Bloomberg, Baltimore Sun Media Group and in television news for ABC and NBC News affiliates. As president of the Society of Professional Journalists Maryland-Pro chapter, he chaired scholarship committees, helped provide guidance on national bylaw revisions, and judged journalism award competitions.
