It is with tremendous sadness and eternal love that the family acknowledges the passing of Elaine Barbara Tuckerman, age 89, on October 6, 2022. Elaine fought a hard battle with Parkinson’s. She is survived by her loving husband, Donald, her three children, Eric (Belinda), Sandi (Robert), and Jay (Hilary), her five grandchildren, Rachel (Harael), Michael (Ariel), Daniel, Tyler, and Samuel, as well as her great granddaughter, Elisheva.

Elaine was born on March 23, 1933 in West Philadelphia to Albert and Sylvia Rothman. At a very young age, she developed a passion for art and attended several art schools on her way to becoming a very accomplished artist. In addition to her artistic talents, Elaine had a keen eye for design and built a successful interior design business.

Don and Elaine lived a loved-filled, fairytale life together for many years in the Philadelphia area, before moving to Delray Beach, Florida in 1996. For over 70 years, they traveled the world, played golf, tennis, spent summers in Atlantic City, and enjoyed time with their children, grandchildren, and great granddaughter. Elaine continued painting all the way up until Parkinson’s took its toll.

The funeral will be held on Sunday, October 9th, at 10:30am at Star of David, 7701 Bailey Road, North Lauderdale, Florida 33068. Shiva will be held just for the immediate family.
