On Thursday, April 18th, at 7:30 pm, there will be “Musical Sounds from Bolivia to the Balkans and Beyond” at Temple Sholom in Broomall.
‘The International Folk Sounds’ ensemble will be playing music from around the world on traditional instruments such as the balalaika from Russia, the charango from Bolivia and the tupan drum, tambura (a stringed instrument) and gajdas (goatskin bagpipes) from Bulgaria and Macedonia. Dancing is welcome.

The program is sponsored by the Hilltoppers, the senior citizen group of Temple Sholom. The public is invited. Refreshments and a social hour will follow the entertainment. A $2.00 donation from non-members of Hilltoppers would be appreciated.
