Oscar-winning filmmaker Barry Levinson (Rain Man, The Natural) wrote and directed four films about coming of age in Baltimore. In this series, Temple University communications professor Irv Slifkin will screen and take a closer look at the themes, the relationships and the Jewish roots of "Diner" (1982), "Tin Men" (1985), "Avalon" (1990) and "Liberty Heights" (1999).
