Arnold and Janet Sherrin of Langhorne and Bruce and Karen Fishman of Boca Raton, Fla., previously Sharon, Mass., announce the engagement of their children, Emily Rebecca Sherrin and Joshua Daniel Fishman.
Emily and Josh both graduated from Syracuse University, where they met senior year. Emily earned a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management and finance, and Josh earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing management and entrepreneurship and emerging enterprises. Emily is pursuing an MBA at Hofstra University.
After graduating from Syracuse, Emily and Josh moved to New York City to work for Unilever in Englewood Cliffs, N.J., where Emily works in procurement and Josh works in marketing as a brand manager.
Emily is the granddaughter of the late Werner Martin and Diana Grace Goldschmidt and the late Kenneth Jeryl Sherrin. Josh is the grandson of the late Barbra and Joseph Rosenstein and Fredrick Fishman.
Sharing in the couple’s engagement are Emily’s grandmother, Lilian Sherrin; Josh’s grandmother, Frimette Fishman; Emily’s sisters, Lindsay and Jamie; brother-in-law Zachary Peikon and soon-to-be brother-in-law Jonathan Fuss; Josh’s sister, Ilana Fishman, and boyfriend Seth Finkle.
The couple lives in Manhattan and is planning a September 2018 wedding in Center City Philadelphia.
