The Laurel House of Montgomery County, a domestic violence agency with an emergency shelter and hotline, honored Penny Satell Berman for her years of service at its annual gala at Green Valley Country Club on April 22. A member of Main Line Reform Temple in Wynnewood, Berman has served in various capacities with the Norristown-based agency, including as a member of its board of directors.
She’s also working on the Todd David Satell Memorial Playground in memory of her young son. The playground is expected to be built when the agency moves to a new location in the near future.
