As part of the RSVP Philadelphia literacy program, third-grade students at Spruance Elementary School wrote letters to RSVP volunteers who write back to help the students sharpen their reading, writing and interpersonal skills. Every spring the students meet their pen pals at a breakfast party hosted by RSVP Philadelphia at KleinLife.
