Nine synagogue synagogues and other Jewish organizations celebrated Purim at the Northeast Jewish Life’s Purim Carnival. The carnival was funded in part by the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia through the Neighborhood Grant Initiative. Among those participating were Ahavas Torah, B’nai Israel Ohev Zedek, Congregations of Ner Zedek Ezrath Israel, Congregations of Shaare Shamayim, Jewish Community of Rhawnhurst, Jewish Family and Children’s Service, KleinLife, Temple Beth Ami and Temple Menorah Keneseth Chai. Rhawnhurst NORC, ZOA, Ann Kids, Bes Medrash Ha Rav, Chabad and Issacson’s Shul also took part.
