On October 17th, the Prime Minister’s Council gathered for a special reception at the home of Rhonda and David Cohen, our campaign co-chairs. The Prime Minister’s Council is a group of people who honor our long history of leadership and Jewish continuity. These members donate a significant gift to the Jewish Federation every year to ensure the Jewish future for the next generation.
This year’s special guest was Marc Platt, one of Hollywood’s most accomplished producers, whose works span film, television and theater, including La La Land, Grease Live and Wicked. Platt’s wife Julie, who he met as a student at the University of Pennsylvania, is the president of the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles, and this year both Julie and Marc Platt will be co-chairing this month’s Jewish Federations of North America’s General Assembly.
