The evening officially kicked off recruitment efforts among the leaders of the Main Event, one of the Jewish Federation’s largest community celebrations of the year.
Preview Party attendees also celebrated the previous night’s win by Main Event special guest Jeffrey Tambor of the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy for his role in the TV hit Transparent.
This year’s Main Event is being held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday, Nov.1, at the Please Touch Museum in Philadelphia. In addition to having the opportunity to hear from and mingle with Tambor, guests can enjoy special entertainment, outstanding cocktails and food stations, and learn more about the Jewish Federation’s life-changing work.  There is no minimum Jewish Federation gift to attend; the couvert is $125 per person.
