Philadelphia native Shulamit Smith was among 218 North American immigrants who have moved to Israel through Nefesh B’Nefesh. The program is in partnership with Israel’s Ministry of Aliyah & Immigrant Absorption, The Jewish Agency for Israel, Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael and JNF-USA.
Founded in 2002 in cooperation with the Israeli government and The Jewish Agency for Israel, Nefesh B’Nefesh is dedicated to revitalizing Aliyah from North America and the United Kingdom by removing or minimizing the financial, professional, logistical and social obstacles.
