On Aug. 25, the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia’s Renaissance Group officially changed its name to NextGen.
“We feel that this new name now accurately reflects the amazing Jewish people ages 21 to 45 who are making a real difference in our Jewish community through networking, volunteering and fundraising,” said Cara Behneman, director of NextGen.
This transition to NextGen leads into the Jewish Federation’s overall rebranding effort to better represent all of its communities. You can find more information on the Jewish Federation’s new look and messaging in next week’s issue of the Jewish Exponent.
You can toast to the new name at NextGen’s High Holiday Wine Tasting on Sept. 13 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Jewish Community Services Building, 2100 Arch St. In addition to sampling a terrific variety of kosher Jewish wines, participants can meet with representatives from local synagogues and receive free or discounted tickets to High Holiday services.
