Roberta Liebenberg

Philadelphia attorney Roberta Liebenberg, a former chair of the Anti-Defamation League of Eastern Pennsylvania and Delaware region, received the Martha Fay Africa Golden Hammer Award. The award is presented by the American Bar Association Law Practice Division to individuals who achieve professional excellence in their careers and demonstrate a commitment to diversity.

Liebenberg, a senior partner at Fine, Kaplan and Black, focuses her practice on class actions, antitrust and complex commercial litigation, and white-collar criminal defense. A former chair of the ABA’s Commission on Women in the Profession, she’s the chair of DirectWomen, whose mission is to increase the representation of women on corporate boards.

She’s also a member at Congregation Adath Jeshurun in Elkins Park and a longtime contributor to the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia.
