Drexel Hillel received the Hillel International Campus Partnership Award at the recent Hillel International Global Assembly in Orlando, Fla. Rabbi Isabel de Koninck, executive director of Drexel Hillel, accepted the honor, which Hillel presents “for becoming an inextricable part of the fabric of campus life, through thought leadership, collaborative programming and by providing resources and training to the University at large.”
Suzanne and Norman Cohn recently hosted the American Jewish Committee’s first-ever AJC Emissary Society Reception at their Center City penthouse. Featured speaker was Deidre Berger, AJC Berlin/Ramer Institute for German-Jewish Relations, and a longtime European reporter for National Public Radio and other news outlets prior to joining AJC. Berger also met with leadership of the Jewish Federation, Equality Forum and AJC supporters.
