Adam E. Laver received the prestigious Benjamin F. Levy Community Service Award from the Louis D. Brandeis Law Society Dec. 1, during the Society’s annual Chanukah party and installation of officers at the National Museum of American Jewish History in Philadelphia. A partner at Blank Rome, Laver, a specialist in real-estate development and property tax, is past chancellor of the Brandeis Society and currently serves on several boards of directors. The award is presented to members of the bench or the bar who demonstrate a sustained commitment to serving the legal and broader community.
John R. Saler has been appointed to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Corporate Council. The Council is composed of civic leaders committed to advancing the hospital’s research, teaching, clinical priorities, innovative research initiatives and programmatic activities.
Robert M. Goldich, a shareholder at global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, was awarded with the Outstanding Leadership Award from Family Services of Montgomery County on Nov. 17 at their annual recognition event. A labor and employment lawyer and litigator with a practice focus on representing employers in complex litigation, Goldich was honored for his guidance on dealing with sensitive issues the agency has faced through the years. He recently concluded a two-year term as president and has served on the board since 2001.
