The National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW) Greater Philadelphia Section hosted a reception to welcome 20 new members to its ranks of more than 300 women. The event was chaired by the NCJW membership team of Judy Fried, Wendy Rader, Sandy Fryer and Harriet Winokur. At the reception, NCJW Greater Philadelphia Section President Barbara Nussbaum and other officers discussed the volunteer opportunities available for the group’s community projects, as well as its advocacy initiatives on behalf of women, children and families.
