Ten members of the National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW) Greater Philadelphia Section were part of a group of 400 NCJW delegates from across the United States, Israel and Australia who attended the organization’s Washington Institute 2019 held in Washington, D.C. from April 7-9. The women learned about strengthening advocacy skills; attended panels and in-depth workshops and connected with activists from communities across the country to effectively lobby their own legislators.
