Nationally accredited child advocacy center Mission Kids, which is based in Montgomery County, took its act to Center City for the first time when it held its eighth annual “Mission Possible” fundraiser at the Franklin Institute.
Nationally accredited child advocacy center Mission Kids, which is based in Montgomery County, took its act to Center City for the first time when it held its eighth annual “Mission Possible” fundraiser at the Franklin Institute. According to Mission Kids Executive Director and CEO Abbie Newman, the center helped 598 alleged victims in 2015. The move into the city was a symbolic gesture meant to demonstrate that while the mission remains local, the message goes beyond borders.
