Harry and Susan Mazurek announce the engagement of their son Alexander (Teddy) Mazurek to Allison Sarah Pieri. Allison is the daughter of Deborah Pieri and the late Frank Pieri of Getzville, N.Y.
Allison graduated summa cum laude from The State University of New York at Buffalo with a bachelor’s degree in biomedical science. She is pursuing a master’s degree in physician assistant studies at Daemen College and will graduate as a physician assistant this May.
Alexander attended Friends’ Central School and Gratz Jewish Community High School and graduated cum laude from Boston University with double major in classics and archaeology. He is pursuing a doctorate degree in classics, with a specialty in Mediterranean archaeology, from the University at Buffalo.
Sharing the couple’s happiness are siblings Aaron Pieri and Samuel Mazurek.
A June 2019 wedding is planned in Buffalo, N.Y.
