Jewkebox, a local university Jewish a capella group, takes home bronze from a national contest.

Who needs TV’s The Voice when you have Jewkebox, Temple University’s Jewish a cappella group?
The judges at this year's Kol HaOlam, the national collegiate Jewish a cappella contest staged in the nation's capital earlier this month, awarded the group bronze status for their renditions of “Im Na’amim” (“When You Believe,” translated into Hebrew from the animated movie The Prince of Egypt) and “Oy Vey” (a parody based on the 2014 hit, “Bang Bang”). This was the group's second appearance at the competition, held at Adas Israel Congregation.
