Women’s Auxiliary 98 — and an 11-year-old Pomeranian named Foxy — were honored during the Jewish War Veteran’s Memorial Day celebration at a supermarket in Northeast Philadelphia. The women have sold poppies every year to benefit veterans.
Women’s Auxiliary 98 — and an 11-year-old Pomeranian named Foxy — were honored during the Jewish War Veteran’s Memorial Day celebration at a supermarket in Northeast Philadelphia. The women have sold poppies every year to benefit veterans. Foxy, a rescue dog, makes visits to the Delaware Valley Veterans’ Home and other local facilities, where she often rides with residents in their wheelchairs or gets back rubs.
