On Oct. 28, the Jewish Community Relations Council of the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia hosted an interfaith vigil of solidarity and hope with Congregation Rodeph Shalom. Following the tragic events at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh, the vigil was an opportunity for Philadelphia’s faith-based communities to come together to mourn and to heal and to hear remarks from public officials, including U.S. Reps. Brendan Boyle and Dwight Evans, and spiritual leaders.
