The Israeli American Council (IAC), along with Center City Chabad, hosted a Rittenhouse Square menorah lighting and Chanukah celebration Dec. 27 at the Ethical Society for children and their families. They also collected coats for some of the city’s 800 homeless. The coat drive, which included donations from Rittenhouse Square building residents, was sponsored by the Friends of Rittenhouse Square.
