More than 250 people came out in support of Hillel of Greater Philadelphia at the fourth annual Vision and Values Celebration at the University of Pennsylvania’s Steinhardt Hall.
More than 250 people came out in support of Hillel of Greater Philadelphia at the fourth annual Vision and Values Celebration at the University of Pennsylvania’s Steinhardt Hall. The event, which raised more than $150,000, honored Dean Moshe Porat of Temple University’s Fox School of Business for his efforts promoting positive ties between area college campuses and Israel. It also honored Rabbi Howard Alpert, CEO of Hillel of Greater Philadelphia who has served the community for 30 years. In addition, five student exemplars were recognized for their leadership on campuses throughout the region.
