A local congressman is honored at a brunch held by a suburban synagogue's Men's Club.
U.S. Rep. Brendan Boyle of Pennsylvania recently broke bread over brunch with the Men’s Club of Beth Sholom Congregation in Elkins Park. The guest of honor — who received a plaque saluting his appointment to the House Foreign Affairs Committee — discussed sundry topics, including Iran’s nuclear program and the Palestinian Authority’s recent application to the International Criminal Court alleging war crimes against Israel.
