How do I place a life-cycle announcement (engagement, marriage, anniversary, reunion notice, birth announcement with photo) in the Jewish Exponent?

You may submit it at jewishexponent.com/submit-mazel-tov/ or mail it to Mazel Tovs, c/o the Jewish Exponent, 2100 Arch St., 4th Floor, Philadelphia, PA 19103. If you mail it, please include a daytime phone number in case of any questions, and a self-addressed, stamped envelope if you would like your photo returned. It takes two to three weeks upon receipt to appear in the paper.

How do I place an event in the Community Calendar?

The Community Calendar will print, free of charge, event listings for synagogue- and Jewish-sponsored events. All items publicized in the calendar must be open to the entire community, and take place in the five-county Greater Philadelphia area or in nearby South Jersey.

When submitting an event for publication, be sure to include the date, time, event sponsor and location. Also include any information regarding speakers and/or topics.  Be sure to include a contact number that can be printed in the calendar.

The deadline for calendar items is 12 days prior to the issue date in which you’d like your event to appear.

How do I send a press release to the Jewish Exponent?

You can mail press releases to the: “Editorial Department,” c/o the Jewish Exponent, 2100 Arch St., 4th Floor, Philadelphia, PA 19103. Your release will be directed to the proper editor. Releases may also be e-mailed to: news@jewishexponent.com.
