Music for a Sweet New Year: A Rosh Hashanah Concert in Narberth Park
September 25 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
The public is invited to join the clergy and musicians from Beth David Reform Congregation to a concert in Narberth Park, 80 Windsor Ave, Narberth, PA to sing in a sweet new year with beautiful and soulful music.
Bring lawn chairs or picnic blankets to this all-ages concert of traditional and contemporary Rosh Hashanah music. This concert is open to everyone of all backgrounds and faiths — we’re excited to share our favorite music with our neighbors!
Rabbi Beth Kalisch and Cantor Lauren Goodlev, along with their musical ensemble featuring Miles Barel, Josh Broker, Jane Horwitz, Sam Keeler, Jordan Rock, Chedva Steranko, Julie Zarukin, Pavel Zarukin and other friends from our community will be performing from the Chet Tyson Gazebo in Narberth Park, right next door to the Narberth Community Library.
Sit on the lawn, and feel free to let your children play on the playground. Picnics are welcome, and we’ll be providing a holiday treat.
The local police department will be in hand to keep us all safe.
Prior to the concert, at 4:20 p.m., young children (ages 2-7) and their families are invited to a special Rosh Hashanah celebration featuring music, movement and a story, led by Beth David’s clergy and our friends at ZoomDance, zoomdance.com.
