Kabbalat Shabbat Service with Tzedek v’Shalom

July 19 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Tzedek v’Shalom, a Jewish Reconstructionist congregation in Newtown, invites you to a Kabbalat Shabbat service on Friday, July 19, at the Mollie Dodd Anderson Library on the campus of George School in Newtown. Rabbi Marcia Prager and Hazzan Jack Kessler will lead a spirited service, which will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by a dairy/vegetarian potluck.
A diverse group of individuals and families who value creativity, connectedness and participation in all services and events have the opportunity to slow down and enjoy one another’s company as they experience Shabbat together.
The congregation meets at George School and the Newtown Friends Meetinghouse–communities with shared visions of inclusivity and social justice–and in each other’s homes. In this way, the community is able to focus on building what is most important: a living, meaningful, joyous Jewish community that is an integral part of the greater fabric of life in Bucks County.
Tzedek v’Shalom welcomes you to our services, events, learning opportunities, and friendship.
