Jewish Farming in South Jersey Exhibit

October 21, 2021 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

The Alliance Heritage Center, with the mission to preserve Alliance Colony history and to tell its stories, has teamed up with the Noyes Museum at Stockton University and the South Jersey Culture & History Center to curate a two-gallery exhibition presenting the history of Alliance.

Making use of photographs, artwork, historic documents, artifacts and film interviews, “Growing American: The Alliance Agricultural Colony in South Jersey” is poignant, often amusing and thought-provoking.

The exhibition is on display at the Noyes Museum galleries at Stockton University’s Kramer Hall in Hammonton, New Jersey. The exhibit opened Oct. 1, 2021, and runs until Feb. 4, 2022. An opening reception will be held on Thursday, Oct. 21, from 5 – 7 p.m. at Kramer Hall (30 Front Street, Hammonton, New Jersey). The reception is open to all; the exhibition is open during Kramer Hall operating hours.
