Grateful Jews — Exploring Jewish connections to the world of the Grateful Dead
April 5 @ 7:15 pm - 9:15 pm
$21.00What draws Jews to the Grateful Dead’s music, lyrical themes, philosophy and experience? “Grateful Jews” is an online seminar that explores that relationship.
“Grateful Jews” takes Kabbalah’s Four Worlds approach:
* Physical – Jews in the Grateful Dead Universe
* Intellectual – Jewish connections in songs & lyrics
* Emotional – Jewish connections to/in Dead culture
* Spiritual – The Dead experience
There is plenty to delve into, so the class is two sessions, two hours each. Four hours, like a good Dead show.
You will be registering for April 5 2021 at 7:15 p.m. EST, and April 12 2021 at 7:15 p.m. Eastern. We will send login information to you privately.
Attendance is limited to allow better interaction with other participants. Limit of 3 participants per online “seat” (logged-in device).
Dead apparel and gear encouraged but certainly not required. BYO grilled cheese sandwiches and organic veggie burritos.
