Steve and Ilene Berger of Newtown Square were recently awarded honorary fellowships from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology during the university’s annual board of governors meeting on the Haifa campus.
The Bergers received the awards for their leadership in the American Technion Society (ATS) and contributions to Technion. Ilene Berger is president of the Philadelphia chapter of ATS, having succeeded Steve Berger in 2015.
