A panel discussion about BRCA mutations — which are linked to breast and ovarian cancer — is slated for Sept. 26 at the Kaiserman JCC.

The panel includes Susan Domchek, executive director of the Basser Center for BRCA; Melissa K. Rosen, director of national outreach for Sharsheret; Kelsey Spielman, a genetic counselor at the Basser Center; and breast cancer survivor Deena Kobell.

The panel discussion and a Q&A will run from 7-8:30 p.m. and be followed by a dessert reception.

The event is free, but registration is required at sharsheret.org/knowledgeispower. The Kaiserman JCC is located at 45 Haverford Road in Wynnewood.
