Avoda celebrated its 90th anniversary with the installation of officers at an Oct. 22 dinner in Mays Landing, N.J. They included Arthur Sklar, president; Jack Dubis, vice-president; Bruce Bogner, treasurer; Ed Snyder and Arthur Brown, assistant treasurers; and Morton Altschuler, secretary. The club was formed in 1928 by five Atlantic City businessmen to financially assist young Jewish men in their pursuit of higher learning.
