Boy Scout Derek Copeland of Troop 665/Temple Sinai is prepared to demonstrate how he records oral histories of war veterans, tapes of which have been donated to the Library of Congress Veterans History Project in Washington, D.C. For his efforts, Copeland earned his Eagle Scout badge at an event marking the occasion. Derek is the son of Larry Copeland and Laurie Segal.
