Larry Katz and Natalie Brooks of Newtown and Jeffrey and Estee Solar of Holland announce the engagement of their children, Emily Katz and Justin Solar.
Emily Katz, a graduate of The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, is a hair and makeup artist in New York City and Philadelphia. Justin Solar, a graduate of The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., is director of entertainment at Rogers & Cowan PMK in New York City.
Sharing in the couple’s happiness are grandparents Barbara Katz, Dorothy Brooks, Rhoda Solar and Sara and Ezra Sherman.
The couple resides on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.
