In the month of January, Beth Am Israel hosted new works from the local Souls Shot Portrait Project, which depicts victims of gun violence. On Jan. 20, the synagogue hosted a panel of mothers of sons murdered by gun violence who have participated in the Souls Shot project, along with Beth Am Israel congregant Elisa Abeloff, a Souls Shot artist.
