On Nov. 20, 120 people gathered at Beth Israel Congregation in Chester County to meet Rabbi Gershom Sizomu, chief rabbi of Uganda. Sizomu is the first native-born black rabbi in sub-Saharan Africa, and the first Jewish member of the Ugandan Parliament. The event was presented by the Kehillah of Chester County.
