Jeffrey Abramowitz won the 2019 CAMMY Community Responder Award for his work as a
producer at PhillyCAM, a community media center that airs original content on Philadelphia’s public access television and WPPM 106.5 FM. Abramowitz is a former Center City lawyer who was sentenced to five years in federal prison for embezzlement in 2012. Now, he co-hosts “Looking Forward Reentry Radio Show,” and is executive director of reentry services for JEVS Human Services.
