Abbe Fay Fletman and Deborah Claire Saltman were married Oct. 20 at their residence in Center City Philadelphia. Rabbi Avi Winokur officiated.
Abbe is the daughter of Herbert and Sylvia Fletman of Philadelphia, and Deborah is the daughter of Kurt and Bronia Saltman of Sydney, Australia.
Abbe graduated from the University of Chicago with a bachelor’s degree in history, from the University of Pennsylvania Law School with a J.D. and from Temple University Beasley School of Law with an L.L.M. in trial advocacy. She is a judge in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas and co-chairs the American Bar Association Litigation Section’s Access to Justice Committee.
Deborah graduated from the University of Sydney with an M.D. and from the University of New South Wales with a Ph.D. She is the medical director of FemmePharma and chair of the Independent Scientific Advisory Committee (ISAC) of the Medicines & Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency in London and holds visiting appointments at Harvard University, Imperial College London and the University of Sydney.
The couple lives in Philadelphia.
