Middle Schoolers Participate in ‘Names, Not Numbers’ Project

On Sept. 13, Kellman Brown Academy’s seventh- and eighth-grade classes, along with middle schoolers from the KIPP School in Camden, New Jersey, embarked on a joint project led by Tova Rosenberg called “Names, Not Numbers.” The program is designed to teach students about the Holocaust, interview techniques, editing and documentary development. As part of the program, students were addressed and taught about interviewing techniques by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Michael Vitez.
