Barbara and Norman Stein of Philadelphia announce the marriage of their daughter, Rachel Amy Stein, to Kevin Douglas Birns, son of Dr. Mark and Ann Birns of Potomac, Maryland.
The wedding took place on December 1, 2018 at The Ballroom at Ellis Preserve in Newtown Square. Rabbi Stuart Weinblatt officiated.
Casey Lerner served as matron of honor and the groom’s brother, Michael Birns, served as best man. Bridesmaids included Erica Halpern, Rachel Shakked, Caitlin Stein, Jessica Altman, Rachael Rosenfeld, Victoria Blisard and Samantha Hirschberg. Groomsmen included Mitchell Stein, Andrew Garrett, Rob Hirschberg, Sammy Gurman, Ryan Hess, David Loesberg, and Marc Fisher.
The signing of the Ketubah was witnessed by Andrew Marcus, Brett Linowes, Casey Lerner, and Phylicia Fisher.
A honeymoon in Australia is planned for July 2019. The couple resides in Fairfax Virginia.
