Jewish Leaders Head to Gaza Border Community With Hakhel Mission

Moses Shapiro from Drexel Hill’s Rappers and Rabbis was in Israel from May 10-16 as part of Hakhel, the Jewish Intentional Communities Incubator’s mission to Israel. He joined 35 Jewish leaders from 21 Jewish intentional communities in 11 countries in learning from a Jewish intentional community on the Gaza border. The group also met with the leaders of one of the leading Druze intentional communities, as well as with a joint farm of Jews and Arabs in Gush Etzion and visited communities on the Gaza border.
