Lifelong Philadelphian Herman D. Rudnick turned 100 on June 17, with friends and relatives traveling from across the country to celebrate the occasion at a luncheon at Rydal Park on June 16. There were numerous toasts and Rudnick made remarks, encouraging everyone to continue to build upon their family relationships and friendships. A member of the Philadelphia Psychoanalytic Society, Rudnick is board certified in psychiatry, a distinguished life fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and a life fellow of the Pennsylvania and Philadelphia Psychiatric Societies. He worked until he was 90. Dr. Rudnick lives in Rydal Park with his wife, Lois. He has five children, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He is an active member of Reform Congregation Keneseth Israel and serves on the Men’s Club board.
