Lisa and Michael Goldenberg of Ambler announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Emily Goldenberg, to William Alexander Newton, son of Stephanie Lambert of Blue Bell and David Newton of Princeton, N.J.
Lauren graduated cum laude from Tulane University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in communication and minors in both business and Jewish studies. She is responsible for global communications and strategy at WeWork, an international platform for dynamic workspace.
William graduated from The Murphy Institute at Tulane University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in political economy. He is co-founder of Shortcut, an on-demand barber service.
Lauren is the granddaughter of Lynne and Jerald Brownstein of Blue Bell, and Roslyn Goldenberg and the late Jack Goldenberg of Plymouth Meeting. William is the grandson of Paula Lambert and the late Richard Lambert of New York City and the late Gillian and Gerald Newton of London. Sharing in the couple’s happiness are Lauren’s sister, Jaclyn Goldenberg, and William’s brother, Benjamin Newton, and sister-in-law, Margaret Wollner, along with their many aunts, uncles and cousins.
The couple lives in New York City and is planning an August 2018 wedding in Philadelphia.
