Debbie and Edward Hoffman of Holland, and Sandy and Howard Slavit of Palm Beach, Fla., announce the marriage of their children, Kate and David, on Nov. 12 at The Hay-Adams in Washington, D.C. Rabbi Elliot Strom officiated.
The wedding party included Joshua Hoffman, Kate’s brother; Wendy Slavit, David’s sister; Erica Schafer and Rachel Wilf, cousins of the bride; and dear friends Megan Savage, Susan Mendicuti, Piper Hall, Jaime Janowitz, Adam Janowitz, Patrick Millard and Thomas Cowles. Sidney Hoffman, niece of the bride, completed the wedding party as flower girl. The signing of the ketubah was witnessed by Melissa Jones and David Ochsman.
Kate is the great-niece of Florence Reid of Elkins Park, granddaughter of the late Faye and David Kay, the late Irving Radetsky, the late Jacqueline and Burton Hoffman and the great-niece of the late Samuel Reid. David is the grandson of Frances Pensler of Chevy Chase, Md., and the late Leslie Pensler and the late Ann and William Slavit.
Following a honeymoon in Hawaii, the couple resides in Potomac, Md.
