Susan and Howard Levy of Bryn Mawr announce the engagement of their daughter, Valerie Beth Levy, to Jeffrey Samuel Goodman, son of Ellen and Jim Goodman of Sudbury and New Seabury, Mass.
Valerie is a graduate of the University of Michigan, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in psychology, and Columbia University School of Nursing, where she earned both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in nursing. She is a licensed RN and will soon be taking her boards for certification as a nurse practitioner.
Jeff is a graduate of Harvard University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics, and The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned an MBA in finance and health care management. He is a vice president of a private equity firm in Boston.
Valerie is the granddaughter of Beverly and William Levy of Philadelphia, formerly of Cheltenham, and Rose Benely and the late Daniel Benely. Jeff is the grandson of the late Adele and Bernard George and the late Dorothy and Milton Goodman.
Sharing in the couple’s happiness are siblings Jennifer Levy and Adam Yoffie, Michele Levy and Julie Goodman.
A November 2018 wedding in Philadelphia is planned.
