Volunteers from the Philadelphia Orchard Project and NextGen, a division of the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia, came together to plant fruit trees and shrubs as part of the second phase of establishing a new orchard at the KleinLife hoop house in Northeast Philadelphia. The effort was organized by RSVP Philadelphia, which works in coordination with KleinLife to deliver 70,000 meals to seniors who cannot shop or cook for themselves.
