Rabbi Jon Cutler, captain, chaplain corps in the Navy, retired after 32 years of service on April 30. He is the rabbi at Beth Israel Congregation of Chester County. The Philadelphia native received numerous awards for his military service, including the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal and the Navy/Marine Corps Commendation Medal.
